[ SUWANEE ARCHIVE T-SHIRT ]

[ NARRATIVE ] 

A study in locality, community, and migration. Inspired by Virgil Abloh’s lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, this piece reflects on his notion that there is an incredible amount of untapped knowledge right in our immediate surroundings.

Abloh posed a critical question to designers: when we design on a local scale, are we creating something meaningful for our community, or is the work ultimately self-serving?

This garment is a direct response to that question. It proves that local narratives have global weight. Instead of looking outward, it anchors itself deeply in Gwinnett County, honoring the convergence of the Korean and Chinese communities in Suwanee. It represents a design language I truly value—taking hyper-local realities and elevating them with the deliberate, clean execution of archival fashion. It is not self-serving; it is an authentic archive of home.

Silhouette: Loose, boxy, gender-neutral structure.

Collar: O-Neck / Round Neck.

[ CARE & MAINTENANCE ]

Wash: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle (30°C max).

Drying: Tumble dry low.

Ironing: Low temperature. 

Do not apply heat directly to the graphic.

Restrictions: Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.
